Grant Achatz and Craig Schoettler of Aviary, a new molecular gastronomy cocktail bar in Chicago, experiment with making a cocktail that is a cross between bubble tea and a gin and tonic.
The lovely meal consists of fried cheese sticks set within a grilled cheese sandwich. Layers of cheese and oils. One upon the other. It comes with marinara sauce on the side (willing to bet that’s loaded with sugar) and, of course, fries. The plate tops out at 1,260 calories! It debuts Tuesday at Denny’s everywhere.
The problem with aiming at the top is that the axe loses momentum before its work is done and you end up with a stuck axe and half a split log.
No, the best approach is to focus on splitting the bottom of the log. Split the bottom and the top takes care of itself.
